Inspired by the Rider Waite tarot deck, the Western world and Japanese and Buddhist concepts the Susuraibito tarot deck came alive. Artist Stasia Burrington painted the original designs of her tarot deck between 2015 and 2017 in ink and watercolor. She also used sumi ink, which is ink with eastern orgins.
The name of the tarot deck “sasuraibito” is a Japanese word which most closely translates to “wanderer.” The artists idea of this tarot deck is that it is designed to aid the curious wanderer. The tarot deck accompanies you on your adventures to come.
